This trip, way back May, was literally spontaneous cause we just planned it the week before. We had no intention of having an itinerary and just wanted to go with the flow, think what to do next after you finished your previous agenda and be merry (lol). Sometimes, a little spontaneity can add a sparkle in your life ;)
Excuse us for the haggard photos but that day was really scorching hot, we could have melted down to the floor. -_-'
Went to Bataan with Anj and Janro (thanks Janro for the warm hospitality, naks!) for three days. After arriving, we did a quick wash up and then headed straight to Zoobic for their night Safari. All those in the photos are real life ones except for the goat and the cub. They're preserved in a cave which strongly smelled of formalin which was necessary of course. There weren't animals harmed in the process though and they died because they either had a disease or due to old age. That cub was really cute I want one! We went around the safari through that train which reminded me a lot of Hogwart's (lol)! We also rode jeep to feed the tigers and then had a walk with a greyhound. To cap our night, we stayed to watch the Night Safari program and had our pictures taken with our fellow Aetas whom one did a peace sign pose with me on camera, how cool is that?? :D
And then the next day we spent the night into this undiscovered heaven Sinagtala, Bataan.
While waiting for our room and the rain to stop, we went to the chapel inside the Sinagtala compound. It was minimalistic but beautiful. It was said that there are a lot of wedding vows being renewed on that chapel.
Sinagtala has an Infinity pool. It's located on one of the highest points so it's quite cold and by 5PM, you will see fog already so afternoon swimming was a fail unless you want to catch hypothermia. Sunset was pretty though.
The next day was sunny! Photo ops for the place. :)
Isn't it lovely? It's the perfect getaway with friends and probably a family reunion place. There are a lot of rooms and other buildings being constructed in the vicinity. Sinagtala has really competitive resort rates because I think they are semi solar powered but I bet rates will rise up after they finish building the whole resort. So it's best if you go before it's done. ;)
