Lumos

There is something about lights that gets my attention. I believe it completes the overall package of a place and like any accent adds character and oomph factor. I get all giddy when I see pretty ones and do some "oohs" and "ahhs" and then "click" for future reference. Here are three locations which I was able to document some of them :p

Germany: Bad Homburg Park + Kronberg Post Haus Restaurant + Bad Homburg Steigenberger Hotel

This street lamp was used to light up the surrounding path walk of the park at the back of the hotel I was staying. They remind me of SIMS, I think they have an almost similar streetlamp there when you make a house (?). Anyway, I know we have the same ones here in the Philippines but I think it was the cold weather and the autumn leaves that got into me why I liked this. I can picture myself in boots with kitten heels and a long coat and scarf walking by this lamp - lol at my imagination.

Wall lights on collage decor wall brings out the vintage-y vibe of this restaurant. This is a hotel restaurant in Kronberg called Post Haus which has a really homey and old school interior. They even have a telephone booth inside the restaurant.

Another wall lamp here, this is inside my hotel room. It provides a dim lighting because of the inverted style. I usually picture this on cozy livings rooms.

Ortigas: Ancestral House (?)
We did a shoot in a colleague's house for a remake/parody of the movie trailer of Himala by Nora Aunor. It was old not sure if it was an ancestral one though but it was mostly wood and brick cement or stone. Their lighting very much complemented it but it was a bit too dark. I guess that's the drawback of yellow light, you need place it  in strategic places.

Rizal: 14 Four Cafe
14 Four Cafe is originally a furniture showroom called Sticks Designs that transforms into a restaurant during the weekends. They have interesting pieces that have been put together in harmonic chaos.
This is a unique chandelier, places on of the longer tables. I wasn't able to get a closer look on what it was made of but it's really an eye catcher.
The lamp structure is simple but the installation made it really interesting. I see this in porches with reclining chairs but this was placed above the bar type table indoor.
That huge lamp that's almost above the ceiling is taller than me (of course). But the highlight piece in this picture is really the seat which looks like stitches of fabric scrap that went really well. Okay, back to the topic: lights.

Lastly, a wall lamp that looks like a street lamp that I posted above. Having it inside was a bit of a pleasant surprise. And the mirror beside it was so like "Mirror, mirror on the wall" right?

Hope this post give you ideas for your home interiors and exteriors. :)
