DIY at Project Pie x Dine for a Cause

Way back a few weeks ago, Kux, fellow blogger and a friend Anj decided to drop by Project Pie. We've been hearing a lot nice reviews about the place so a really crazy idea came to mind - do diy at project pie!

Kux and I taught our friend Anj our newly acquired skills (naks!) on paper cutting and crochet. Since we're making our own pizza, why not make our own cutesy crafty things? *Images from Kux

So the main gist of project pie is a bit like "turo-turo" style in the Philippines, you tell or point them the ingredients you want and they place them on the bare pizza dough.
You get a pan each with a paper place mat with your name. Check out Pizza ala Kux!
Here's me and Anj in action, intense crocheting, LOL.
Teddy plushy now has a cute bonnet!

We had so much fun I think we stayed for about almost 2 hours, haha! Would like to have another version of this crafty evening next time. :)

Speaking of food places, there are a lot of restaurants this weekend that are holding a "Dine for a Cause" where part of 100% of their proceeds go to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan. You can check out the working post from Spot.ph which will be updated from time to time. Click the image to see the list of restaurants. *Image from Spot.ph
Yabu already did their fair share last November 13. It really was jam packed and a lot of people came in to support the event. 100% of their sales that day were donated for the victims of the typhoon. I believe in supporting the brands that give back.

Let's not forget that we can always help in our own way. It is never too late to lend a helping hand. #PrayForThePhilippines.
