DIY Christmas Gifts - Hand Painted Mini Pads

Way back 2013 I posted DIY Budget Christmas Gifts. Last year, I did another crafty thing for my friends but didn't get to post it. Since Christmas is (again) just a round the corner, here's a DIY budget colorful gift that you can do this year!

Materials:

  1. Ribbons - I upcycled mine from those used from old gifts to those that hold cake boxes)
  2. Paint and brushes - whatever you have, mine was watercolor tubes that I got from National bookstore, the really cheap best buy ones
  3. Pens and markers
  4. Mini pads - I bought mine from Muji

For each pad, I chose a quote and a design that is based from their personalities. I painted and wrote on the front of each pad and then tied them with a ribbon.

It's a bit messy and it was the first time I used watercolor. This project was fun though! You don't only give your friends gifts but you also take time to have them personalized.

Happy crafting!
