Anne and Leo - Save the Date

This is probably one of the most challenging projects I did for papercutting given the design and timeline. But I had lots of fun making it and really appreciated that the couple liked it! I made it using a 7 x 9 white frame with interchangeable background of red, black or just glass.

Work in progress.

I used two 5 piece set of blades for this! The detail killed my blade tips. Hahaha.
After a quick chat with the bride, we decided to trim them so that the words pop out. The one with the red background is the trimmed version.

Final post of Anne and Leo :)

Leaf

Here's my latest papercut inspired by the autumn season. Really excited for this October's Korea trip with my sister!

Experimented with geometric design for this leaf.

Also bought these new 5x7 frames for future papercuts, excited to use them!

Imperfect Papercut

I made an anniversary card for the boyfriend last December and this papercut was included in them. I realized I had letters facing the wrong way after finishing them but decided to let it be because it somehow gives off a charming imperfect vibe (or it's just my lazy self talking).
It sounds cliche but it's a reminder that nobody's perfect but shouldn't stop us to pursue the one thing closer to perfection: Excellence.

Ending this post with my most favorite Jayeslee cover of I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz.
Happy good vibes Thursday! :)
