Taking a break from crafting post, here's a foodie post instead. :)
First heard about Commune from Mansy Abesamis, an artists who holds craft workshops in Commune Katipunan. I'm not a coffee lover mainly because I get acidic so I didn't look into it much. Anj however was able to know that they also have a branch in Makati which we decided to pay a visit. Photos below were a mix of my and Anj's shots through her dad's DSLR camera.
Dessert!
Loving this mismatched tiles on their wall. Would love to have one in my future house.Hello there teddy buurrr. Or should I say polar burr?
We ordered the Beef Adobo for sharing which is currently their bestseller. Also had a touch of weird that day when we ordered the Chocolate Chip Bacon Cookie with Sea Salt. Hmmm.
Super dessert goes to this Cookie Shot! It's basically a cookie shaped as a shot glass which you can either put milk or ice cream. Of course we chose the latter for a taste of heaven at php165.Commune's interior design is really fun with it's sassy wall drawings, floating shelves and quirky bookends. How cute is that black cat???
Their bar also has a blackboard painted wall that has really nice lettering and typography.
Ambiance is really nice too unlike the common cafe's which are too noisy for you to concentrate. I totally see myself back here crafting or reading a book.
Visit Commune at Liberty Plaza, 102 H.V. Dela Costa Street, Salcedo Village and check out their menu for yourselves. :)
